The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Yogapatti P.S. Case No. 244/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The informant alleged that after marriage with Munna Kumar @ Arjun Kumar she went to her sasural, but she came to know that her husband developed illicit relation with his sister-in-law (Bhabhi) petitioner no. 2. When the informant protested, her husband, brother-in-law petitioner no. 1 and sisterin-law petitioner no. 2 assaulted her and they asked her to fulfill additional demand of dowry.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19649 of 2017 (2) dt.12-07-2017 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have no manner of concern with the family affairs of the informant and her husband. The informant has made character assassination of petitioner no. 2.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that husband of the informant has already been granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 01.07.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. 25268/2017, the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran in connection with Yogapatti P.S. Case No. 244/2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
