The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 304 B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The father of the deceased alleged that his daughter Munni Praween was married to Md. Akbar. His son-in-law was always demanding a Hero Honda motorcycle but on account of non-fulfilment of the said demand, her daughter was killed by her husband and other in-laws within ten months of her marriage. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the brother-in-law of the husband of the deceased. The petitioner was not even present in the house of the deceased at the date of occurrence. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner.

No.45070 of 2014 (2) dt.18-02-2015 2/2 Having considered the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner is the brother-in-law of the husband of the deceased, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Samastipur, in connection with Sarairanjan P.S. Case No.96 of 2014.
