JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-07-2017 The petitioner, who is husband of opposite party no.2, apprehends his arrest in a case under sections 498A, 404 and other sections of the IPC and 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioner refutes the allegation of demand of dowry, torture thereof, keeping another woman and driving out opposite party no.2 out of her matrimonial house. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is disposed of with direction to surrender and seek regular bail, which would be considered on its own merit, preferably the same day, without prejudice.
