After the bifurcation of the State of Bihar, petitioner has been allocated Jharkhand cadre. The plea for direction upon the respondent-State of Bihar for promotion was considered by the Learned Single Judge and keeping in mind that the petitioner is serving in the State of Jharkhand now and the said authority will have all the opportunity to consider the service history of the appellant for consideration of his past claim also, the Court refused

Patna High Court LPA No.1194 of 2013 dt.17-01-2017 2/2 to pass any order, after giving adequate opportunity to the appellant to approach the authorities of Jharkhand, if necessary. There was nothing wrong with the opinion expressed by the Learned Single Judge. No relief is required to be extended to the appellant in the present appeal.

The appeal is dismissed.
