Mr.Standing Counsel 25 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ALOK KUMAR SINHA ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 26-09-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing for respondent-State.

2. With the consent of the parties, this writ application is being disposed of at the present stage itself.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the relief claimed for in the present writ application, the petitioner is prepared to file a detailed representation before the Respondent No. 4, i.e., the District Magistrate-cum-Chairman, District Compassionate Appointment Committee, Munger within four weeks from today. He further submits that if such a

Patna High Court CWJC No.13657 of 2025 dt.26-09-2025 2/3 representation is filed by the petitioner, an appropriate direction be given to the Respondent No. 4 to dispose of the said representation within a fixed time frame after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

4. The aforesaid prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner is not opposed by learned counsel appearing for respondent-State.

5. Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ application is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to file a detailed representation before the District Magistrate-cumChairman, District Compassionate Appointment Committee, Munger within four weeks from today and if such a representation is filed, the same shall be disposed of on merits by the District Magistrate, Munger within a further period of six months from the date of filing of the representation after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Needless to emphasize that the final order which will be passed by the District Magistrate, Munger should be a reasoned and speaking order.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application is disposed of with the liberty granted as
