1. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
2. This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Ghosi Police Station Case No. 159 of 2024, dated 30.03.2024, disclosing offences punishable under Sections 341/323/324/307/379/509/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The prosecution case, as per the First Information Report, is that on 30.03.2024, while the informant was at his home, all the named accused persons, including the petitioners, came with various weapons and the petitioner
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61960 of 2024(2) dt.17-10-2024 2/3 no. 2 assaulted the informant upon his head and other petitioners brought country-made pistols and assaulted the informant by lathi, danda etc.
4. Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that both the parties are neighbours and an altercation took place between them due to some quarrel among the children of the two families. A counter case has also been lodged by the side of the petitioners against he informant and others, bearing Ghosi Police Station Case No. 164 of 2024. The injury caused to the informant is simple in nature and the injury caused to other victim, namely, Ankit Kumar, has not been brought on record by the prosecution.

Regards being had to the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties and taking into consideration the fact that both the parties are neighbours, there is case and counter case between them and the injury caused to the informant is simple in nature, I am inclined to grant the petitioners privilege of anticipatory bail.
6. This application is, accordingly, allowed.
7. Let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on

No.61960 of 2024(2) dt.17-10-2024 3/3 furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad, in connection with Ghosi Police Station Case No. 159 of 2024, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
