The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 409, 467, 468, 471, 420 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged that a cheque of Rs.8,60,400/- dated 17.06.2015 bearing no. 001428 was deposited before the Bank with a forged signature for its encashment.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the said cheque was issued from the Office of the petitioner, who is the District Welfare Officer, Supaul, with forged signature. It is also stated that the custodian of the cheque is the Nazir of the office of the petitioner and the

He further submits that the suspension of the petitioner has been revoked and a direction has been issued to make payment during the period of the suspension of the petitioner. Petitioner has clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail and submitted that the said cheque was deposited with the signature of the petitioner. Considering the aforesaid submissions, let the petitioner, above named in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Supaul in connection with Supaul P.S. Case No. 293 of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) Brajesh Kumar/- U T
