JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 11-07-2025 The learned counsel for the opposite parties submits that in compliance of the order of this Court dated 25.9.2019, passed in CWJC No. 20639 of 2018, the Superintending Engineer, Road Construction Department, Muzaffarpur has already passed a reasoned order dated 31.7.2023 and the pension and arrears of pension have also stood paid. 2.

Nonetheless, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that now the pension has been stopped with effect from

Patna High Court MJC No.2137 of 2021(3) dt.11-07-2025 2/2 September, 2023, hence the petitioner be granted liberty to approach the Superintending Engineer, Road Construction Department, Muzaffarpur for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, appropriate petition is filed before the Superintending Engineer, Road Construction Department, Muzaffarpur within a period of two weeks from today, he shall take steps to ensure that the pension of the petitioner is re-started, in case there is no other legal impediment and pass a reasoned order within a period of four weeks, thereafter.

Accordingly, the present contempt petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
