Petitioner claims that despite the application filed by the petitioner in the year 2013 no final decision has been taken by the licensing authority for grant of arms licence. Having regard to the facts and circumstances, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate-cum-Licensing Authority, Jehanabad to take a final decision in the matter on its own merit and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
