The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Maheshkhunt (Khagaria) P.S. Case No. 20 of 2016 registered under Sections 420/201/120B of the Indian Penal Code and 12(2)(d) of the P.C. Act.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is a Secretary of Gram Panchayat. There is no ingredient of any criminal offence against the petitioner. On perusal of Annexure-2 to the supplementary affidavit, it appears that no objection certificate has been issued by the District Programme Officer to the petitioner.
Having considered the facts and circumstances of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.50748 of 2017 (4) dt.08-12-2017 2/2 case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Vigilance-II, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 10 of 2016 arising out of Maheshkhut P.S. Case No. 20 of 2016, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C. (Arvind Srivastava, J) Shailendra/- U T
