For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Alok Kumar Singh For the Respondent/s : Mr. Chandra Mohan Singh ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-05-2017 From the records, it appears that the petitioner has been refused admission to B.Ed. Distance Mode Programme (under self-Financing Scheme) CET-2016 by Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga on the ground that she is working as a Warden and not as a Teacher.
From Annexure-6 to the writ application, it is evident that the petitioner was appointed as Warden-cum Teacher in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Singhgiyon, Singheshwar. It cannot be said that she, being a Wardencum-Teacher, cannot be treated to be a Teacher for the said
Course. If the rejection of the petitioner's claim for the said Course alone then such rejection is completely erroneous. The Co-ordinator Distance Education, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga is directed to consider the petitioner's case for admission to B.Ed. Course treating her to be a Teacher. The decision must be taken within one month from the date of the receipt/production of a copy of this order.
This application stands disposed of accordingly. (Chakradhari Sharan Singh, J) ArunKumar/- U
