The petitioner seeks bail in Sathi P.S. Case No. 50 of 2019, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that two accused persons namely, Ramesh Mukhiya and Lorik Mukhiya were apprehended by the Police with Motorcycle. On search, 70 litres of country made liquor kept in a jute bag has been recovered from their possession whereas 30 litres of country made liquor has been recovered from another Motorcycle, but the persons seated on the Motorcycle managed to run away. It is further alleged that besides the above, 10 litres country made liquor wrapped in plastic lying on the road nearby other

Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, West Champaran at Bettiah, in connection with Sathi P.S. Case No. 50 of 2019, subject to the condition that both the bailors will be the close relatives of the petitioner.
