The petitioner is languishing in custody in connection with Madanpur Police Station Case No. 84 of 2016 for offence punishable under Section 47 of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016.

From a vehicle, the Police recovered country made liquor. The driver of the vehicle disclosed that the petitioner was also involved in that business.

The petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, Raja Singh, is directed to be released on bail on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc.
