1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.( ) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the i nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions to the respondent concern authorities to make the payment of the outstanding rent amount of Rs. 2,16,000/- (Rupees two lakh sixteen thousand only) with interest till the realization of rent amount to the petitioner whose land was taken on rent for the purpose of "Kachra Prasanskaran" for the period of ten years as per agreement made between the petitioner and respondent No.2."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel, appearing for the Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad, Bakhtiyarpur, Patna, submits

Patna High Court CWJC No.14851 of 2023(3) dt.25-06-2024 2/2 by referring to paragraphs no.9 and 10 of the counter affidavit, filed in the present case that the outstanding rent for the period November, 2022 to March, 2024, amounting to a sum of Rs.4,59,000/- has already been paid to the petitioner vide cheque dated 22.04.2024 and the month to month rent would definitely be paid to the petitioner during the subsistence of the lease in question.

3. Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court finds that the grievances of the petitioner has stood redressed. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has received the outstanding rent in question, hence the present writ petition be disposed off.

4. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
