2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No. 117 of 2025 registered for offences under Sections 420, 406, 467, 468, 471/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the FIR has been lodged against 11 named accused persons, including the petitioner, against whom there is an allegation that the appointment has been made to the post of GNM based on a letter, which was found to be forged.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is quite innocent and has not committed any offence.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72484 of 2025(3) dt.21-01-2026 2/2 He further submits that the petitioner is a lady and the petitioner was not aware about the forged appointment letter and she has no role in drafting, fabricating or issuing the said letter.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this application for anticipatory bail stands allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above-named, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today in the Court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj/concerned Court below in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No. 117 of 2025 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS and with a further condition that the petitioner will cooperate in the trial.
