1. Heard Mr. Yogesh Chandra Verma, learned senior counsel for the petitioner along with learned Central Government Counsel for the NCB.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with N.C.B. No.24/2021, arising out of F. No. NCB/PZU/V/24/2021 dated 26.10.2021, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20, 25 and 29 of N.D.P.S. Act, 1985.

3. This is the third attempt of the petitioner to seek regular bail. The learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that charges have been framed against the petitioner.

4. Since the recovery of Ganja from the vehicle in question is of commercial quantity (994 Kgs) and the petitioner was found in the vehicle and was arrested, as such, the Court is not

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65589 of 2023(2) dt.06-10-2023 2/2 inclined to release the petitioner on bail in connection with NDPS Case No.24/2021, arising out of F. No. NCB/PZU/V/24/2021 pending in the Court of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Aurangabad.

5. Since the charges have been framed, the Court expects that the learned trial court shall expedite the trial.

6. Hence, prayer for bail is rejected.
