2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sikti Case No. 188 of 2023 for the offence registered under Sections 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Amendment Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, on a secret information police intercepted a pick up van bearing Registration No. BR11GA-2482. On seeing police the driver and other accused persons fled away. On Search, total 892.200 litres of Nepali Resham Lichi liquor recovered from the pick up van. Petitioner is owner of the seized pick up van.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this

Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner has no knowledge about the misdeed of the driver and the seized liquor loaded in the pick up van. Petitioner is in jail custody since 03.07.2025. He has no criminal antecedent. Petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the trial of the case.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of learned counsel for the parties and period of custody, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge- Excise- II, Araria, in connection with Sikti P.S.
