Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Turkavila P.S. Case No. 325 of 2016 registered under Sections323, 307, 504, 506, 406, 498A, 494/34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The allegation against the petitioner alongwith others is of demand of dowry. It is further alleged that petitioner has solemnized second marriage with another lady. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegations leveled are false and petitioner is ready to keep the informant.
Considering the gravity of allegation leveled
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49665 of 2016 (2) dt.19-12-2016 against the petitioner and the fact that petitioner has solemnized second marriage, I do not feel inclined to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioner. The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail is, therefore, rejected.
