2.Respondent :The Principal Secretary, Department of Education, Government of Bihar, Patna. 3.Respondent :The District Magistrate, Saharsa. 4.Respondent :The District Education Officer, Saharsa. 5.Respondent :The District Programme Officer (Establishment), Saharsa. 6.Respondent :The Accountant General, Bihar, Patna Present:- Member(Judicial) :Mr. Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah Member(Legal Profession) : Mr. Binod Bihari Sinha, Advocate AWARD The dispute between the parties having been referred for determination to the Lok Adalat and the parties having compromised/ settled the case/matter, the following award is passed in terms of the settlement: As agreed between the parties, the writ petition stands disposed off in the following terms.

Learned counsel for the State agrees that within three weeks from today sanction shall be accorded for payment of revised pension in terms of the recommendation of the 6th Pay Revision Commission and forwarded to the Accountant General.

Learned counsel for the Accountant General agrees that within two weeks of receipt of such sanction order, authority slip shall be issued in favour of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State further agrees that payment shall be made to the petitioner within four weeks of the authority issued by the Accountant General in his favour.

The petitioner shall further be at liberty to move before the appropriate forum in accordance with law, if so required, for any of his remaining grievances.

The parties are informed that the court fee, if any, paid by any of them shall be refunded.
