JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 17-10-2017 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Chakia P. S. Case No. 10 of 2017 instituted under Sections 395 and 412 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted that petitioner's name transpires only in the confessional statement of two co-accused and those two coaccused were granted regular bail by this Court. Having considered the nature of offence as well as criminal antecedent against the petitioner, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

However, petitioner may surrender and seek regular bail and the same shall be considered on merit without being prejudiced by this order.
