JUSTICE RAJESH KUMAR VERMA ORAL ORDER 20-09-2024 Heard Mr. Ashok Kumar Jha, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Syed Mojibur Rahman, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail who is in custody since 20.07.2022, in connection with Punaura P.S. Case No. 135 of 2022, FIR dated 17.06.2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 201 and 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. According to the prosecution case, the petitioner along with other accused persons jointly out of their conspiracy, murdered the daughter of the informant and also with intention to disappear the evidence, they concealed the dead body of her daughter. The cause of said occurrence is non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 12.05.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 67335 of 2022.

5. Vide order dated 23.08.2024, report was called for regarding the stage of the trial.

6. Vide report dated 23.08.2024, it reveals that out of five charge sheet witnesses, three have been examined and the case is pending for examination of rest two prosecution witnesses.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts and the allegation as alleged in the FIR, I am not inclined to extend him the privilege of bail which is accordingly rejected. (Rajesh Kumar Verma, J) Jagdish/- U T
