JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 31-07-2018 Having heard learned counsel for the parties, we direct that pending finalization of the criminal case in Madhweapur P.S. Case No. 36 of 2018, vehicle of the petitioner (Mahindra Scorpio S2 bearing Registration No. BR-07-PA-9951) be released to the petitioner on the petitioner furnishing two sureties to the satisfaction of the District Magistrate, Madhubani. The vehicle in question shall be released within one week from the date of submission of the sureties. Valuation of the vehicle in question shall be done as per the valuation shown in the insurance

In the pending confiscation case, appropriate orders be passed with regard to continuing with the confiscation proceedings in the light of the order passed today in the case of Rajesh Kumar Pandit @ Rajesh Pandit Vs. The State of Bihar &Ors. in C.W.J.C. No. 13162 of 2018 and the circulars/orders issued by the State Government in pursuance to the direction issued by this Court in the case of Diwakar Kumar Singh Vs. The State of Bihar &Ors (C.W.J.C. No. 5049 of 2018). With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
