The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Koilwar P.S. Case No.177 of 2022 registered under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code and other allied sections of the I.P.C.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The petitioner has been implicated in this case due to satisfy old grudge. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner stating that there is direct allegation against the petitioner. The petitioner is alleged to have
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62516 of 2022(2) dt.09-01-2023 2/2 given iron rod blow on the head of the informant due to which the informant got injuries, which has been corroborated by the injury report. Therefore, the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail.
Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case as well as nature of allegation made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected. Harish/- (Arvind Srivastava, J) U T
