JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 08-12-2015 Heard Sri Abhay Kumar Thakur, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The petitioner, who is in custody since 26.07.2012 in connection with Gurua P.S.Case no.103 of 2010 registered for the offence under Sections 147,148,149, 435, 341, 323 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 17 of C.L.A. Act, has prayed for grant of bail.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner in this case has been made accused on his confession and, as such, he deserves to be released on bail. On perusal of paragraph-3 of the petition, it is evident that the petitioner is accused at least in 23 such serious cases. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52591 of 2015 (2) dt.08-12-2015 2/2 except two cases, the petitioner has already been released on bail in all other cases.
Keeping in view the criminal record of the petitioner, I do not find any ground to extend the privilege of bail. The petition stands dismissed.
