The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is denial of monetary benefits of promotion to the post of Reader. The petitioner was granted promotion as Reader with effect from April, 1994 but the monetary benefit has not been given to the petitioner as yet.

Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to calculate the

Patna High Court CWJC No.16896 of 2019(3) dt.25-09-2019 2/2 entitlement of the petitioner and grant monetary benefits of such promotion at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
