JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 22-06-2017 This appeal is for grant of bail to the appellant. From perusal of the record it appears that earlier a report was called for from the court concerned with regard to the status of the case. The report is at Flag-'Y' from which it appears that now in this case altogether 11 witnesses have been examined including the doctor. However, the case is pending only for examination of the two witnesses including the I.O. and the informant and the trial is likely to be concluded within a period of two months.
Heard learned counsel for the appellant as well as learned Special P.P. for the State.
In view of the fact that the trial is at concluding stage and is likely to be concluded within a period of two months,
Patna High Court CR. APP (SJ) No.1024 of 2016 (5) dt.22-06-2017 as such, I am not inclined to grant bail to the appellant and hence this appeal is dismissed.
However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. At the same time, the Superintendent of Police, Sitamarhi is also directed to produce the informant and investigating officer in the court on the date fixed.
