That through this writ application petitioner seeks indulgence of this Hon'ble Court in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to pay compensation of Rs. 15,00,000/- (Fifteen Lacs) to the petitioner for custodial death of her husband on 18.07.2022 due to severe assault made by the police after his arrest on 12.07.2022 by the Police Officer namely Akhilesh of G.B. Nagar (Tarwara) Police Station on charges of making noise after drinking liquor and grant another relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is entitled under the law."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the parties have submitted that the case of the petitioner for grant of compensation is pending adjudication before the State Human Rights Commission, Bihar, Patna, hence, it be requested to expedite the proceedings.

In view of the aforesaid, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition with a request to the State Human Rights Commissioner, Bihar, Patna, to consider the case of the petitioner, if the same has not already been disposed off, in accordance with law and take a final decision expeditiously.
