The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 420, 419 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner along with the other accused persons are said to be demanding a sum of Rs.1,000/ to enable the victims of flood for getting an amount of Rs.6,000/ by way of flood relief.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. No money transaction has taken place nor any amount as alleged was demanded by this petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 20.9.2021.

It has been stated therein that the petitioner is to appear in the competitive examination which is to be held on 26.12.2021. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Turkaulia P.S. Case no.736 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari.
