In the present case, the petitioner has raised a grievance that he was not allowed to join though appointed as Special Police Officer for Kurtha Thana. As per advertisement he had applied for the post of Special Police Officer though he was selected and approved by District Magistrate but was not allowed to join the said post.
It appears that the appointment was for 11 months reflects from advertisement issued on 28.8.2009. Now after efflux of time no cause of action survives which can be

In such view of the matter, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
