JUSTICE AHSANUDDIN AMANULLAH ORAL ORDER 16-11-2022 Heard Mr. Uday Prakash Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Jharkhandi Upadhyay, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State (hereinafter referred to as the 'APP').

2. The petitioner has moved the Court seeking bail in connection with Aurai PS Case No. 278 of 2018 dated 02.12.2018 instituted under Sections 387/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959.

3. This is the second attempt for bail as earlier such prayer was rejected by order dated 14.07.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 14229 of 2020.

4. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Court may direct for conclusion of

5. Learned APP submits that the petitioner is accused in many heinous crimes for which cases have been lodged against him and trial is pending.

6. Having considered the submissions of learned counsel for the parties and for reasons recorded in the order dated 14.07.2020 in Cr. Misc. No. 14229 of 2020 and the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner for conclusion of the trial, the Court does not find any ground to allow the prayer for bail.

7. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed.

8. However, let the trial be expedited and concluded within a period of one year from the date of communication of the order to the Court concerned subject to co-operation from the petitioner and his counsel.
