JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 06-09-2019 This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Laukahi P.S. Case No. 84 of 2019, disclosing offences under Sections 143, 341, 323, 448, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Prevention of Witch (Daain) Practices Act.

Prosecution case is that petitioners and other accused persons entered inside the house of informant and started assaulting her by fists and slaps by calling her daain, thereafter, people assembled and they fled awy.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56618 of 2019(2) dt.06-09-2019 2/2 that no specific allegation has been attributed to the petitioners and large number of persons have been made accused in this case. Further submission is that petitioners have no criminal antecedent and they are ready to abide by any condition imposed on them.

Having heard both sides, in view of the above facts, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani, in connection with Laukahi P.S.
