JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 21-11-2017 Learned counsel for the State submits that the order has already been complied as a decision has already been taken to issue licence for N.P. Bore rifle vide Annexure B dated 17.11.2017 by the District Magistrate, Nalanda.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he had applied for pistol/revolver and rifle both. However, Xerox copy of the application filed by the petitioner has been produced at the time of hearing which clearly indicates that the petitioner sought licence either for rifle or for revolver. The second ground taken by

Patna High Court MJC No.3949 of 2016 dt.21-11-2017 2/2 the petitioner is that he had asked for issuance of licnece for all India but it has been issued only with respect to the State of Bihar. However, in my view, there is sufficient compliance of the order and, therefore, this proceeding is dropped. It is made clear that this order would not come in way of the petitioner either in challenging the order on the aforesaid ground or for making another application for grant of licence for revolver or any other N.P. Bore arms or for extending of area of licence to all India or whatever is allowed under the statute.
