====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 30-01-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.
2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 337, 338, 307, 379, 354B, 171-F of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per prosecution case, on 13.05.2024, all the F.I.R. named accused persons including petitioner pressurized husband of informant to cast his vote on 'Lalten Chhap' and on protest, all the accused persons looted his shop and took away Rs. 34,000/- from the cash box and damaged glass of the Scorpio of informant.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that informant and petitioner are co-villagers and they are supporters of different political parties and on the account of last
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67911 of 2024(4) dt.30-01-2025 2/2 parliamentary election, some altercation took place due to political rivalry. Allegation against petitioner is general and omnibus. It is further submitted that similarly situated coaccused persons have already been granted anticipatory bail by this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 12.09.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 61635 of 2024.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering the nature of allegation and backdrop of the case, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai in connection with Suryagarha P. S. Case No. 151 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
