Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is retired from the post of Librarian on 30.04.2009. It is submitted that no benefit of differences of gratuity amount has been provided to him. He further submits that his salary was deducted and gratuity amount has not been paid to the petitioner and after lapsed of 13 years petitioner's wife is old, he has filed representation before the authorities annexed as Annexure-2 series but till date nothing took place and University has not supported over the matter.

In this view of the matter, submission made, let the

Patna High Court CWJC No.14986 of 2022(2) dt.25-01-2023 2/2 Registrar of the University, respondent no. 3 is directed to pass a reasoned order on the representation filed by the petitioner ( as Annexure-2 series) on the point of admissibility of the claim demanded by him within six weeks from today and in case the petitioner found payable, the University shall assure the payment to the petitioner with the statutory interest and if University found that petitioner is not payable that in that case a reasoned order be passed and it communicated to the petitioner within the said period.

With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of .

The petitioner shall be at liberty to challenge the rejection order of the claim of the petitioner, if so advised. (Dr. Anshuman, J) N.K/- U
