Petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with a case registered under Sections 147, 149, 323, 324, 307 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation in brief is that one of the accused had committed some mischief by taking vegetable from the field of the informant and was slapped on that account the accused persons assaulted the informant.

It is submitted that the petitioners and informant are co-villagers and some petty issue for plucking the cucumber some altercation took place and nature of injury sustained by the informant

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37526 of 2017 (2) dt.10-08-2017 2/2 is simple in nature. These petitioners have no criminal antecedent. Having considered the said facts and circumstances, in the event of arrest/surrender within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order to the concerned court, let the petitioners, namely, Dilip Rai, Bupi Rai @ Bhupi Rai, Raj Kamal Rai @ Raju, Abhay Rai and Teju Rai @ Teju Kumar Rai be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of A.C.J.M. IV, Bhagalpur in connection with Lodipur P.S. Case No.40 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
