ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 04-09-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner is the husband who is in custody since 28.11.2017 in connection with Majhauliya P.S. Case No. 289 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341/307/34/304(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

In view of the fact that the petitioner has a moral liability to protect his wife whom he has married and the allegations being there of dowry demand, I am not inclined to grant bail to this petitioner.

It is, accordingly, rejected.

However, the trial of the case be expedited so as to
