The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 395, 397 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of Arms Act.
Petitioner is not named in the first information report. Name of the petitioner figured in the case in the confessional statement of co-accused Manoj Thakur. The police did not collect any other evidence to show the involvement of the petitioner except the confessional statement. It is stated that the carbine of the petitioner was used in committing dacoity. Considering the fact that except the confessional statement there is material to show the involvement of the petitioner, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1170 of 2015 (4) dt.26-02-2015 2/2 two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Supaul, in Chhatapur P.S. Case no. 20 of 2011.
