2. Mr. Kumar Goutam, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Sanjay Kumar, learned APP for the State are present.
3. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Supaul Complaint Case No. 234 of 2014, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 504, 379 and 498 A of the Indian Penal Code.
4. Vide order dated 20.11.2024, the matter was sent for mediation and it has been reported by the learned Mediator vide its report dated 18.12.2024 that in spite of the best and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61716 of 2024(4) dt.29-01-2025 2/3 sincere efforts, the dispute between the parties could not be resolved through the process of mediation and thus, the mediation failed.
5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs that the opposite party no. 2 had not appeared before the learned Mediator

Considering the nature of allegation made in the complaint, as well as, it has been informed on behalf of the petitioner that the opposite party no. 2 had not appeared before the learned Mediator and today also, no one appears on behalf of the O.P. No. 2, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on pre-arrest bail, in the event of his/her arrest or surrender before the learned District Court within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate V, Supaul, in connection with Supaul Complaint Case No. 234 of 2014, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
7. The learned District Court is directed to verify the criminal antecedent of the petitioner as stated in paragraph no. 3 of the bail application. If any other case is pending against the petitioner as what has been stated in
