The petitioner claims that he passed the Intermediate of Arts Examination held by the Bihar Intermediate Education Council in 1996. According to him, his original certificate of Intermediate of Arts has not been made available either to his college where he studied or to him. The petitioner has filed a representation before the Secretary of the Board which is said to be duly forwarded by the Principal of P.K.Roy Memorial College where he had studied.

Patna High Court CWJC No.17214 of 2018(2) dt.05-09-2018 2/2 Let a decision be taken on the petitioner's request for grant of original certificate and necessary steps be taken thereafter within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The petitioner has another grievance to the effect that in the provisional certificate, his name and his father's name have been described in abbreviated form.

The Board will be required to look into the said aspect of the matter also while issuing the original certificate, if the petitioner's claim is found to be correct.

This disposes of this writ application.
