2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 174 of 2024 dated 12.06.2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 379, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons along with four unknown miscreants came to the house of the informant and started abusing and assaulting the informant with lathi, danda, and butt of the pistol. The coaccused Rohit Kumar has also taken Rs. 10,000/-.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62637 of 2024(2) dt.23-09-2024 2/3 that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged occurrence. The petitioner has two criminal antecedent in which he is on bail as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 22.06.2024. Similarly situated coaccused Nishant Kumar @ Nishant Kumar Singh has already been granted bail vide order dated 04.09.2024, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 60820 of 2024 by this Court.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioner by submitting that all the co-accused persons also assaulted the informant's nephew Diwakar Singh causing severe injuries. As per the injury report of the injured, the injury is grievous in nature which is on vital part of the body.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No.
