The petitioner seeks bail in Bettiah Muffasil P.S. Case No. 418 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 25(1-B)a/26 of the Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, petitioner was found in unlawful possession of one country made pistol and one live cartridge.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that no incriminating article has been recovered from possession of this petitioner. In para 3 of the petitioner it is stated that though petitioner is accused in 7 cases and out of that he is on bail in 6 cases. Petitioner is in custody since 10.07.2021. Investigation is complete.

Considering the period of custody, the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69047 of 2021(3) dt.21-04-2022 2/2 above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Bettiah Muffasil P.S. Case No. 418 of 2021.
