The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Civil Lines P.S. Case No. 66 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 379, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per allegation, when the informant went to Gandhi Maidan for morning walk, he saw two persons fell from the motorcycle on the ground while they were teasing a female bypasser. When the informant along with some other persons went there and attempted to persuade them, they badly assaulted him. They also snatched Rs. 3500/- from the pocket of the informant. Co-accsued Md. Irfan was arrested and he named the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56873 of 2022(2) dt.08-02-2023 2/2 as a person who fled away from scene of the occurrence. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent. He has falsely been implicated and there is nothing against him except the confessional statement of co-accused. He has also submitted that the case has been compromised.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Gaya in connection with Civil Lines P.S. Case No. 66 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. The petitioner shall physically appear on each and every date after commencement of the trial failing which his bail bond shall be terminated automatically.
