Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AC to GP-26.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant contempt application has been filed for initiating a proceeding of contempt against the opposite parties for their willful and deliberate violation of the order dated 12-11-2024 passed in CWJC No. 16963 of 2024.

At this state, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that CWJC No. 16963 of 2024 was disposed of by an order dated 12-11-2024 with a direction to the Circle Officer, Bihta to act in terms of the letter No. 1354 dated 10-6-2024 issued by the S.D.O, Danapur, within a period of

Patna High Court MJC No.2811 of 2025(3) dt.19-09-2025 2/2 three months from the date of receipt/production of the copy of the order. It is next submitted that S.D.O, Danapur, vide letter dated 10-6-2024 had directed the Circle Officer to inquire into the matter in accordance with law.

Learned State counsel further submits that a showcause on behalf of the Circle Officer has been filed wherein it has been specifically pleaded that the order of this Court has been complied and a recommendation has been sent to the Additional Collector for cancelling the Jamabandi No. 931/1 created with regard to 1.875 acre of land under Plot No. 143, 142, 141, Khata No. 246, 292, 290, Mauza-Bihta Thana No. 47, as would manifest from Annexure R/B to the show cause. It is next submitted that based on the recommendation of the Circle Officer, Bihta, jamabandi cancellation case shall be instituted in the court of ADM, Patna, and the petitioner would be at liberty to appear before the ADM to contest the case. 5.

Considering the submission made by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State, the Court finds no merit in the contempt application.
