The petitioner has renewed the prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 272, 273 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 2.9.2021 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. no.19090 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing one year in custody. The petitioner is in custody since more than 1 year ie since 6.12.2020. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the liberty granted to the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.69576 of 2021(2) dt.22-12-2021 2/2 vide the aforesaid order dated 2.9.2021 and the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Kudhani P.S. Case no.725 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Muzaffarpur.
