2. The petitioner has moved the Court for the following reliefs:

"That this is an application prying for issuance of a writ in the nature of a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction for quashing the letter bearing No. JPU-27 / 2014 - 1595/ GS (I) dated 26.11.2014 as contained in Annexure-17 issued by the Respondent No. 3 whereby the petitioner has been reverted back as Assistant Professor to his parent College i.e. R.B.G.R. College Maharajganj from Associate

Patna High Court CWJC No.943 of 2015 dt.13-09-2018 2/2 Professor of Philosophy, PG Department of the J.P. University, Chapra without any show cause or without holding any Disciplinary Proceeding in accordance with Act, Statute applicable to the University and it is further prayed for issuance of a consequential writ in the nature of a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the respondents to reinstate the services of the petitioner as Associate Professor in the PG Department of J P university with all consequential and monetary benefits."

3. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that during the pendency of the case, the petitioner has now been posted as an Associate Professor at H.R. College, Mairawa in the District of Siwan, which is a constituent unit of J.P. University. Thus, he submitted that the writ petition be allowed to be withdrawn and matters be put to rest.

4. Learned counsel for the respondents do not oppose.

5. Having regard to the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed off as withdrawn.
