In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Barauni (FCI) P.S Case No.243 of 2015, registered for the offence punishable under Section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made that since the father of the deceased could not satisfy the demand of dowry of Rs.60, 000/-, the accused persons killed his daughter by setting her ablaze. Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51320 of 2015 (2) dt.30-01-2016 2/2 bail is rejected. However, the Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible preferably within a period of one and half year from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order.
