This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Section 47(a) of the Indian Penal Code. Five liters of country made liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 30th July, 2016, and the petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent.

Hence, having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Excise Case No. 138 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari, or successor Court.
