2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Madhepura P.S. Case No. 812 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

3. Recovery is of 41.7 litres of codeine cough syrup.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a person of clean antecedent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is in custody since 19.07.2024.

5. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62693 of 2024(2) dt.10-09-2024 2/2 bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-V-cum-Special Judge (Excise)-I, Madhepura in connection with Madhepura P.S. Case No. 812 of 2024, subject to the following condition:- (i) The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
