The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Siswan P.S. Case No. 161 of 2016 dated 26.10.2016 instituted for the offences under Sections 174, 188, 420, 406, 409 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

It has been alleged in the FIR that 14 schools were inspected in the night of 18.10.2016 and it was fund that 14 quintals of rice which was meant for midday meal were found to be less than what was supplied. As against the petitioner, it was alleged that he was in possession of the receipts of the foodgrains supplied to the schools for the mid-day meal but he did not render

Considering the nature of accusation against him, he is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-IV, Siwan in connection with Siswan P.S. Case No. 161 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
