Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents.

Petitioner has prayed for the following relief/s: "(i) Issuance a Writ of Mandamus or any other

Patna High Court CWJC No.18180 of 2018(2) dt.06-01-2020 2/3 appropriate Writ, Order or Direction to the Respondent no.4 to conduct the investigation in connection with all the incidents of sexual exploitation and other inhuman crimes in the Shelter Homes/Sudhar Grih mentioned in the TISS Report. (ii) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or Direction to the Respondents to expedite the investigation and submit a status report before this Hon'ble Court. (iii) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or Direction to the Respondents to ensure that there is a proper inspection and Evaluation Mechanism of Shelter Homes/Sudhar Grih as per the provisions of the law. (iv) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or Direction to the Respondents to ensure that proper functional CCTVs are installed at the Shelter Homes/Sudhar Grih and proper counselling is provided to the inmates of the Sudhar Grih/Shelter Homes.

(v) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or Direction thus making report of TISS public so that the common public can know the gravity of crime and thereby become more vigilant in future and can also provide more information to the investigating agencies about the shelter homes in question."

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition reserving liberty to approach the authorities concerned for redressal of his grievances.
